There’s something that’s been really alive in my field lately…
To dive in, let’s start with a little story.
In some of my hardest seasons, times when I felt the most confusion, darkness, or deep emotional unraveling – I would call my teacher to process.
I’d be expressing, questioning everything, feeling unsure… and he would take a breath, laugh gently, and say:
“oh… so you’re questioning now, huh?”
Not to judge me, but to offer a spark of awareness while I was deep in the process.
Here’s my takeaway from these moments:
Especially in spiritual or manifestation spaces, we’re often taught that the path to our dreams should feel clear, certain, and built on unshakable knowing…
like if we’re aligned enough, healed enough, embodied enough… we’ll just know.
But the truth is, the most important parts of our lives are shaped through questioning.
Questioning is what brings us into right relationship with our shadow.
It’s what refines us.
It’s what helps us see what’s actually true, instead of what we assumed had to be true.
When I was feeling deeply disconnected in my marriage, the question
“is this the right relationship for me?”
didn’t lead to everything falling apart.
It led to deep honest conversations, and to a completely new level of intimacy that has strengthened where we are to this day.
When I questioned my entrepreneurial path and whether I actually wanted to be doing what I was doing – it didn’t pull me off course.
It stripped away what wasn’t meant to be there.
The outdated strategies.
The misaligned structures.
The messaging that no longer fit who I was becoming.
Questioning things has been the gateway for my greatest uplevels.
And like my teacher always says:
“Examine your consciousness.”
What I’m Questioning Right Now
Lately, I’ve been in a practice of questioning everything.
Do I actually like my morning routine – or am I just doing it because I think I should?
Does the way my office is set up actually feel good to me?
Do I love how I’m marketing my work?
Do I love how I’m speaking to myself?
Do the expectations I place on my habits feel supportive or controlling?
I used to pride myself on discipline and rigidity – doing things “the right way,” perfectly, all the time.
What I’ve realized is how much control lived in that energy…
how hard I was on myself…
and how little room there was for humanity or grace.
Now the questions have shifted.
And here’s the thing…
Questioning things doesn’t mean your whole life is falling apart.
It means you’re listening more closely – and you are refining.
I truly believe clarity isn’t born from having all the right answers.
It’s the byproduct of honestly questioning your reality.
So if you’re questioning things right now, I’m right there with you.
You may be one honest question away from a total realignment.
All my love,
Lauren ✨
A Gentle Practice For Your Body
Notice where your routines feel rigid instead of supportive.
Question one daily habit this week and ask how it actually feels in your body – not whether it’s “good” or productive.
Let your body help you refine what stays.
Sitting With the Question
When doubt appears, don’t rush to fix it.
Sit with the question underneath the doubt long enough to hear what it’s truly asking you to see.
Refining Your Path In Business
Question one structure, strategy, or message that no longer fits.
When something feels heavy or forced, it’s often an invitation to pivot.
