There comes a point on the spiritual path where insight alone is no longer enough.

You can have the downloads. The visions. The knowing that you’re here for something more. You can feel deeply connected to God, to source, to the unseen, and still find yourself asking: How do I actually build this into a life? How do I take what I know in my soul and ground it into my body, my work, my relationships, my money, and my purpose?

That’s exactly what this week’s conversation explores.

In this episode of The World Needs Your Medicine, I sat down with Britt Deanda for a deeply grounding conversation on Kundalini, entrepreneurship, motherhood, courage, aligned wealth, and the real life process of building a life that reflects who you truly are. Britt shares so beautifully about the tension so many spiritual women feel between the mystical and the material, and why the work is not to choose one or the other, but to learn how to hold both.

One of the themes I loved most in this conversation is the idea that spiritual entrepreneurs are being asked to root down in a deeper way right now. Britt spoke about the energy of Aries season and the spring equinox as a true new year, a time when vision wants to become embodied, when the ethereal wants to land in reality, and when we’re asked to move from inspiration into grounded action.

That framing feels so important.

Because so many women are no longer satisfied with simply awakening. They want to live what they know. They want to embody their gifts. They want to create a business, a body of work, and a life that feels spiritually aligned without abandoning their humanity, their desires, or their need for support and stability.

Britt’s own story speaks so powerfully to that journey.

Before becoming known for her work in Kundalini and conscious entrepreneurship, she was living a very different life in the corporate world of advertising and marketing. In hindsight, she can now see how that season prepared her for what she does today, but at the time, she was caught in a structure that felt overly masculine, externally driven, and disconnected from her deeper truth. Eventually, during a painful breakup and low point in her life, she stumbled into a Kundalini class by accident, thinking it was a vinyasa class, and everything began to shift. That experience led to emotional release, a 40 day meditation practice, teacher training, and eventually the work she is known for now.

I think that’s such an important reminder: sometimes the path doesn’t arrive in the polished, obvious way we imagine.

Sometimes it meets us in the breakdown.
Sometimes it finds us when we are numbing.
Sometimes the thing that changes our life begins with confusion, discomfort, or a moment we never would have planned.

And still, it is medicine.

We also spoke about what Kundalini actually is, because I know for many women it can feel mysterious or even intimidating at first. Britt explains that the practice combines breathwork, movement, meditation, mudras, mantra, and conscious awareness. At its core, it’s a technology for moving energy, dissolving old patterns, and helping women retrain the nervous system so they can hold more truth, more expansion, and more life.

That part of the conversation really landed for me because so much of what keeps women stuck is not a lack of desire. It’s a lack of felt safety around change.

Britt speaks beautifully about how the mind is designed to keep us safe, and how that very mechanism can also keep us stuck in old identities, old patterns, and old realities. She shared that a huge part of the work is developing the nervous system’s capacity to stay present in discomfort, to trust a higher vision, and to take action even when fear is still there.

That is such real medicine.

Because courage does not usually look like feeling completely fearless.
More often, it looks like telling the truth.
Taking the next step.
Choosing the aligned thing before you feel fully ready.
Continuing to lay one brick at a time.

That “brick by brick” metaphor was one of my favorite parts of the entire episode. Britt shared how easy it can be to become overwhelmed by the size of the vision, especially when you know deep in your bones that you are here for more. But rather than getting swallowed by the enormity of the dream, she encourages women to focus on the next brick. The next brave decision. The next clear action. The next aligned step. And eventually, when you look back, you realize you’ve built something beautiful.

We also went into a conversation I care deeply about: the difference between true spiritual embodiment and spiritual escapism.

There are so many ways spirituality can become another place to disappear, another way to leave the body, avoid grief, bypass pain, or float above reality. Britt has such grounded wisdom here. She spoke about how her own practice has helped her channel her energy, integrate more deeply, and find a middle space between being overly in the spiritual realm and overly identified with the material world. That integration is what allows her to be both deeply devoted and fully here. A mother. A businesswoman. A spiritual teacher. A woman who can hold the beauty of being human without abandoning the sacred.

And of course, we talked about wealth.

Because if we’re going to have honest conversations about spiritual entrepreneurship, we have to talk about money.

Britt shared that she has known what it feels like to make good money doing work that felt misaligned, promoting things she didn’t care about, participating in systems that didn’t reflect her values. And she has also known the deeper journey of asking: What would it look like to be well resourced while doing work I actually believe in? What would it mean for spiritual women to not only follow their calling, but to become wealthy through it? To be free, supported, and resourced enough to serve more deeply, create more boldly, and live more fully?

That conversation matters so much.

Because so many women are still carrying inherited stories that wealth is not available to them. That spirituality and abundance do not belong together. That purpose work must mean burnout, compromise, or lack. Britt speaks directly to those old archetypes and names how much of this is inherited programming from patriarchy, family systems, culture, and scarcity conditioning. And she makes such a powerful case for why helping spiritual women become wealthy is not superficial at all. It is liberating. It is restorative. It is part of the work.

This episode is for the woman who knows she is meant for more but has been afraid to trust it.

The woman who is awakening, but now wants to embody.
The woman who can feel the calling, but doesn’t yet see the full path.
The woman who wants a life that is spiritually true, financially supported, and rooted in real self trust.
The woman who is ready to stop waiting to feel ready.

If that’s you, I think this conversation will feel like a deep exhale.

Not because it hands you a perfect formula.
But because it reminds you that the path is built through practice.
Through devotion.
Through nervous system work.
Through intuition.
Through courage.
Through one aligned brick at a time.
